Since Wednesdays are usually a bit more freeform than my other posts, I thought that I'd just pontificate a bit about some of the games that have come across my journey here on BGG. There's so much out there to play and while I don't necessarily have the opportunity or option to play most of what pops up here on BGG, I know that there's quite a few that I would like to try.

Thanks rascozion for the great overview.
I also have kickstarted the Thunder Road: Vendetta – Maximum Chrome edition as well as the new expansion, Thunder Road: Vendetta – Carnival of Chaos which should be arriving sometime in November of this year if everything remains on track. I know that Restoration Games is fairly good at fulfilling their timelines so barring any crazy worldwide pandemics (which has happened), I expect to get it this year. Not only am I excited to have new boards to play on (with the Thunder Road: Vendetta – Carnage at Devil's Run expansion included), but the arena being added as an alternative layout is extremely fun to me and really taps into the "car combat" nostalgia that hearkens back to when I was a kid and playing Vigilante 8: 2nd Offense in my friend's basement. I'm really excited about it and cannot wait to yell "WITNESS ME!" when the time comes for it's arrival. I also hope that I can sell my base version of the game when the Maximum Chrome edition arrives since it's the original Kickstarter version from 2023 and I won't need two copies of the game.
Recently, my buddy Anthony's son 3-D printed an insert for Clank!: A Deck-Building Adventure for me and it looks absolutely fantastic. Even with two of the expansions, it fits great, and still leaves room for additional boards to be added to the box. I still have two more expansions to add (Clank!: Sunken Treasures and Clank!: The Mummy's Curse) but I think that I'll probably end up getting Clank!: Catacombs first before getting another expansion for my base version of Clank! I actually did see both Catacombs and Clank! Legacy: Acquisitions Incorporated at a local board game shop on Thursday last week, but managed to hold off on purchasing them, since they also had a copy of Heat: Pedal to the Metal for purchase too. I love this hobby, but man the up front costs are expensive.
I recently downloaded and started tracking my plays of games through the Board Game Stats app, which also features some excellent integration with BGG and allows me to start tracking costs per play of my games if I enter in a price point for what I paid for them. My lowest overall cost per play is Magic Maze at $.88 per play and my most expensive game per play (right now) is Everdell: The Complete Collection but that's only because the game itself was about $240 not including the extras that I purchased for it. It's really fun for me to be able to see exact time spent on playing games as well as how many games per day that I've been playing as well as when and where I play those games. It really makes my stats brain super happy and has been a fun addition to my normal logging.
There are a lot more games that I'm interested in trying out, but I've rambled for a bit longer than I meant to with this post and I'll end it here. It's a bit of a different post this week, but I actually liked being able to just ramble a bit without having a plan. Thanks for reading and I'll be back on Friday with a few more reviews for games in my collection!
